How tuition works
Here is what sets tuition, what the extras are for, and where to find the figures.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on the class and on how many classes a week a dancer takes. Age group, class length and the kind of class all play a part. The figures are on our registration page, and we are glad to talk them through by phone.

Registration
A yearly registration covers the studio's file for your dancer and the studio's insurance. It is due when you register for your first session.
Holding a place
A place is held when you register. When a class is full we keep a waitlist and call in the order families joined, and a spot that opens goes to the next family within a day.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly by autopay, or once for the session if you would rather pay it that way. Either way, you see the schedule of payments when you register.
Siblings
A second dancer in the family is handled differently from the first. Ask us when you register and we will explain how.
Missed classes and make-ups
A missed class can be made up in another class of the same age group within the same session. Book it at the front desk or by message.
Uniforms, costumes and other costs
Costumes are ordered in the winter and billed before the recital in May, one for each class a dancer takes. The recital has a production charge for each dancer, and guests need tickets. Dancewear and shoes are bought by the family. We don't enter competitions, so there are no entries or travel. Adaptive costumes are chosen with each dancer.

Withdrawing
We ask for a month's notice before a dancer leaves, so we can offer the place to a family on the waitlist. A costume that has already been ordered is still billed.
