Two studios and a family room
The front studio has the barre and the piano. The back studio has the music.
Both studios are on one level, with sprung wooden floors and tall windows. Classes are capped at 10 in creative movement, 12 for ages 6 to 12 and 8 in adaptive dance. Dancers hang their bags on hooks in the hall and keep their shoes in a cubby.
Front studio: ballet barre, upright piano, windows on two sides
Back studio: open floor and a sound system
A ramp at the entrance and doors wide enough for a wheelchair

The family room
Grown-ups of dancers ages 3 to 5 wait here, with a bench, a plant and a window onto the front studio. There is a basket of books and a rack of costumes ready for recital season.

Safety routines
Grown-ups of dancers ages 3 to 5
A parent or guardian stays in the building for every creative movement class, and the teacher hands each child back to a named grown-up at the door.
Rooms and floors
Both studios have sprung floors and a barre at child height, and the hoops, mats and scarves go back in their baskets after class.
